Cedex is building the first co-owned perpetual DEX - next-generation decentralized derivatives trading platform on Cedra. We're not another copy-paste DeFi protocol. We're reimagining how perpetual trading infrastructure should work, with community ownership and sustainable growth at the core.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services in Rust.
• Work with blockchain nodes, RPC endpoints, and transaction formation/signing.
• Develop APIs using Rocket (priority), Actix-web, or Axum.
• Implement async workflows with Tokio
• Ensure performance, reliability, and code quality.

Requirements

• Strong Rust programming skills with at least 2 years of experience
• Experience with at least one Rust web framework (Rocket preferred).
• Understanding of blockchain principles: transactions, signing, RPC communication, basic cryptography (e.g., Merkle proofs).
• Experience with async Rust (Tokio).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of blockchain ecosystems
• Experience with smart contract interactions and ABI calls.
